CM Steel Buildings were appointed as main contractor to rebuild a site that gained national news coverage when it was subject to a catastrophic fire. Due to the location of the recycling facility the smoke from the fire forced the closure of a section of the M8 motorway until under control.
CM's mandate was to reintroduce perimeter reinforced concrete push walls incorporating a concrete slab as well as associated open fronted canopy steelwork and cladding.
